-> To me, food is one part that shouldn't be missing in this tour. Food is what made this trip worth while, if there is not good food, this trip would be half complete and i would deeply regret it if i walk home without tasting some tasty food.

~ Yummy  ლ(´ڡ`ლ) ~
->This is Crepe from Crepes Lena is union station. It is an ice-cream roll up in wheat flour with some chocolate on top of this. This piece of work is too good to pass by. This is one of my favorite food ever. I would recommend anyone to try this it is yummy.

✌(◕‿-)✌ Yey!!
-> For me, i love Japanese people culture. They always make everything looks good and cool. Sushi is one of them, one taste and it last forever. The sushi on the picture above is from Kabuki Sushi. Need to taste this at least once.

\( ゚ヮ゚)/ Hurrray !!
-> This is Tandoori Platter from Aditi, an Indian restaurant. It looks really good one the outside. I really wanted to try this once my in lifetime and now i have the chance to do that. I never tastes this so i can't say i would recommend this to anyone but it looks good so people should try one.

Post #7: Spring time with Cherry Blossom

-> Cherry Blossom is one of the best season in the Washington D.C. I think this scene is one of the best scene that i have ever seen in this world. The pink color of cherry flower just make it a really marvelous look. But one thing that make me sad is to not be able enjoy foods in there under the tree. The reason for why foods are banned in these place are because there is a lot of tourists and all kind of bad people. The people in Washington D.C doesn't want their beautiful scene to be destroyed by trashes and foods.

-> For food, there are all kind of great restaurants that make really high quality foods in D.C which i will be talking about in another post.

Kevin de León
-> Kevin De Leon is one of California senator. He is the one representative of my district. If i were to meet him, i would like to meet him in the White House. So my appointment for him would be in the White House. Security for him wouldn't be necessary, we would just walk around the White House and talk for a while. If we absolutely need security for some reasons, i would ask for at least 2 to 3 guard men. One question that i would ask him is how will he fixing the gun control problems? I wanted to ask this question because it is one of the biggest problems in the U.S right now.

->This is the capitol of United States. The U.S Capitol was built on September 18, 1793 which is about 221 years ago. They finished the Capitol building in 1800. Its location is in the Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. The name of "Capitol" was introduced by Thomas Jefferson, replacing the intended name of "Congress House". The Capitol was designed by a British person named William Thornton. The capitol has an perfect attractive look to it. There are five floors and about 16.5 acres big. Its height is about 289 feet in tall.

-> These are the Relief Portraits that are stored in the U.S Capitol. They give us the images of persons that are significant in history.

-> This is a picture of Moses which is a prophet who transformed people into a nation and give us the ten commandment law.

-> This is Jefferson the third president of U.S he wrote the Declaration of Independence.
-> This is Napoleon, emperor of France famous for the Code Civil that influence the legal system of European and American States in 19 century.

-> I believe that these people have a portrait of their own in the U.S Capitol is because of the laws or rules that they made changed the way of people. They did something great like that, they got a portrait in here.

-> This is the picture about Embarkation of the Pilgrims in the U.S Capitol which interest me a lot. I think the hidden meaning behind this picture is god is always with us. We can be free and do whatever we want.

-> This is the Statues of Freedom on top of the U.S capitol. It look a bit like the Statue of Liberty in New York but it is not. It represent the freedom of people to be free and equal.

-> Statue of Dwight D. Eisenhower which is our 34th president. He represent a person that fight for our country with courage. I chose this statues because it make me see the world of war in different view point.

-> One of my favorite monument is the Washington Monument. Not only it represent as a grave for Washington, the first president of United States, it is also present as a symbol of the hero who helped build United States to this day. I liked it because the Monument is really tall. It's height is about 169 meter and have an obelisk shape. From afar, it looks really cool but when it is close you can only see a really big pillar of stone that goes really high.

-> The Jefferson Monument is also one of my favorite one. This Monument is for Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding father of United States. He was also the one who drafted the first Declaration of Independence. The exterior of the Monument has marble steps and columns that looks like Athens temple from the outside. Inside, there is a statue of Jefferson sculptured by Rudulph Evan. The statue of Jefferson look toward the direction of the White House where he once lived.

Last but not least, the Lincoln Memorial is one of my top three Monuments. This Memorial is for Abraham Lincoln, the one who freed slaves in United States. It's exterior is also look like classic Greek temple from Athens. The outside covered with a pool. When a person see it from a far, it look really beautiful because of the reflection of the water on the building. Inside of this Memorial, there is Lincoln sitting in a chair looks really fantastic.

-> This is the Supreme Court of the United States where the laws are make. The building's design look similar to the Athens temple in Greece. People in the government are debating inside this building to see which laws or bills will be pass. They are arguing whether a law should pass or not. The Supreme Court have a function to check the states or executive actions are against the constitution or not. It is also a place to judge a person liberty or to say guilty or not.

-> One of my favorite thing in the supreme court is the Bronze Door. It represent the evolution of laws in its eight panels. It show me that laws have been created and evolve to this day.

-> This is the Great Hall after the Bronze Door. The hall is made up of marbles. Between columns there are chief justices from the beginning of this hall. Walking through this hall make me remember the chief justices that sacrifice their lives to make our country a better place.

-> Then after the Great Hall, there is the court room where the court conduct their trials. The court is a bit small, i thought it would be larger than the Great Hall but it is not. I choose this because it make me feel like i am reliving the past history of people. Even though the court room is small, it seem so grand and great.

Post #3: The Declaration Of Independence

                                                              THE MIDDLE ONE

-> This is the Declaration of Independence of the U.S. It looks like a paper where declared the freedom of U.S. It was drafted in June to July 1, 1776 by Thomas Jefferson. Then it was ratified in July 4, 1776. The purpose of this paper was to declared the thirteen colonies independence from the Great Britain. This was the start of the American history. Nowadays, it is house in the National Archives of the United States in Washington D.C. The Declaration Of Independence is important because it give our U.S freedom from the Great Britain. It is also represent as a set of rules for people to follow. It is protected by guards in the National Archives in glass cases.

-> This is the White House where president of United States live in. It is located in Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington D.C. The outside of White House is beautiful. There are a lot of gardens and flowers make it a fantastic scene to look at. The inside is well organized with many artifacts that are collected from each generations of presidents. There are many pictures of presidents and vice presidents on the walls in each halls. In my opinion, the most interest thing are the plates that the previous generation of presidents collected. Those plates that presidents collected throughout their life time are priceless. Plates are really good artifact that transcend time give me the feeling that i am back in the 70s, 80s or 90s generations.

-> To build such an impressive house like this, our founding father must think that presidents should be living in luxury and have a big beautiful house. I also think that the previously presidents build house like this is because to remember the past of our country. There are a lot of pictures of important people that make changes in the U.S inside the house. This is to remember people that had contributed greatly for our country.

The Honorable Zoe Lofgren
Congresswoman Representing California 19's district
1401 Longworth House Office Building Washington, D.C 20515

Dear congresswoman, Zoe Lofgren

My name is Minh Nguyen and i find that the White House is really beautiful and a piece of art. I would like a permission for me to visit the White House. The reason i wanted to visit is that i want to see the plates that presidents collected throughout their life time. Those plates hold a big meaning for me, it make me feel like i travel back through time at the exact location of the plates and see big events. Watching the plates online, i have more urge to see it in real life and if possible touch it. I hope that i would be able to get a permission to visit the White House as a tour.
                          Thanks, Minh
